The truth about Boo and the witch
The witch and all her knick-knacksYou didn’t think it was, did you? Well it’s not. Now, when you watch Brave, all the Easter Eggs (little hints that make up theories) are in the witch’s cottage. The cottage is full of wooden knick-knacks that the witch is trying to sell. A lot of her possessions don’t match up with the time period that the movie is set in. Why would a witch have all of these items that have clearly been taken from other time periods? It’s simple. The witch travels through time. So the witch time travels. Everything she owns has something to do with bears. Who cares? Well, here comes the crazy bit. In the witch’s cottage you see a wood carving of a bear that looks exactly like Sulley. Yes, horns and everything. Then there’s Boo and when she gets put to bed by Sulley she gets a toy bears. Sulley even sings, “Oh, he’s a happy bear.” Then there’s the witch. A time traveler who wants to turn humans into bears. She’s obsessed with wood because it has magical properties. Like time travelling doors. Are you catching on?

The truthBoo and the witch are the same person. I know it’s crazy but it’s true. At the end of Monsters, Inc., Mike surprises Sulley with Boo’s reconstructed door, so Sulley can visit Boo. What happens after this visit? Surely Boo must be catching on. So eventually, she figures out that doors are special and if she powers a door, she can visit Sulley again. The problem is, she doesn’t know that he is from the future. She could spend her whole life travelling through time, not realizing that Sulley lives in the future. Instead, Boo travels back in time and becomes a witch. Her obsession of bears and animals leads her to believe that Sulley is somehow a combination of both. That is why she keeps on turning people into bears. For now the Pixar Theory is over, leaving us with a rather sad ending but there will be many more Pixar movies like Finding Dory, The Incredibles 2, Toy Story 4 and many more. That’s it for the Pixar Theory (Finally).
